For plastic toilet seat mould , normally we make 1+1-cavity : toilet seat and cover in 1 family mould, thus is more economical for saving mould investment, and could produce the 2 parts together at the same time, this way is better for production quantity (efficiency). We will add runner switch on the mould injection gate, so you can control and choose to produce only 1 part or 2 parts together as your requirements. If you do not have big injection machine, may need to make 2 moulds seperately—cover mould and toilet seat mould. Plastic material for toilet seat and cover is PP or ABS as different standard and market. As our experiences for toilet seat mould, it’s better to apply better cavity side steel than core side steel.
